Library expands hours

The Emmaus Public Library will now offer hours on Fridays.

The library will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 3, 17 and 24. The library will be closed for a luncheon honoring its volunteers Sept. 10.

Regular hours will continue 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

According to Belong, the library’s online newsletter, the addition of Friday hours topped the list of requests in a recent survey of library users.
