The final installment of the Catasauqua free summer concert series will be The Roulette Band 7-10 p.m. Sept. 10 at the amphitheater at Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St. The concert is sponsored by S.J. Thomas.
Don’t forget your lawn chairs/blankets.

The Sept. 15 deadline to sign up to attend Catasauqua High School’s informal 55th class reunion is approaching. The event is planned for 1-5 p.m. Oct. 23 at Slovak Center Social Club, 1233 Fifth St., North Catasauqua.
The event will include a hot buffet. Masks are encouraged.

Did you know Catasauqua is referred to as the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution in America?
Join Lehigh Township Rails to Trails and the Bertsch-Hokendauqua-Catasauqua Watershed Association on a walk around the town Sept. 25. Mansions will be viewed, industries will be discussed, and the importance of and effects upon local waterways will be explained.
Meet 1 p.m. by the painted sunflowers on the restroom building at Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St.
The walk will cover about 1-and-a-half miles.
Although the walk is free, organizers ask you to register so you can be contacted in case of inclement weather. Call or text Nancy at 484-330-9627 or Stefanie at 717-884-4899.
