Arlene Elizabeth Reitz, 94, of Fellowship Community, died Sept. 1, 2021, at Fellowship Manor. She was the wife of the late Forrest Reitz for 67 years.

Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Joseph and Leona Mae (Smith) Schlegel.

She was a lifetime member of Christ Lutheran Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Joan Laudenslager and her husband Gregory, Ann Cherneski and her husband Joseph and Diane Phillips and her husband Clinton; three grandsons, Matthew, Spencer and Mitchell; and three siblings, Edith Mae “Jean” Scheirer, Colin Kelly Schlegel and Karen Lee Dreher.

She was predeceased by five siblings, Richard, Robert, Ronald, Dennis and Elaine, who died at birth.
