Shirley Mae Arawjo, 90, of Freemansburg, died on September 2, 2021, at Moravian Hall Square. Born in Freemansburg, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Sylvia (Werkheiser) Burgess. She was the wife of the late Walter “Cogi” Arawjo.

She was a Liberty High School graduate.

She was a typist and bookkeeper for Synthetic Thread and later Just Born until she took retirement.

She was a devoted member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Freemansburg.

She is survived by two sons, Darryl and his wife Karen and Kevin and his wife Catherine; a daughter, Ginger Mihulec and her husband John; five grandchildren, Justin, Sean, Ian, Shannon and Stacy; and four great-grandchildren, Michael, Tucker, Autumn and Journey.

She was predeceased by a sister, Loretta Schlicher.
