Madison Lasko took part in the Hot Glass Experience by creating a jellyfish glass sculpture with guidance from a glass-blowing instructor. The creative Musikfest project was set up on the Southside near Levitt Pavilion under the Hot Glass Tent. Individuals could sign up for a session for a small fee to make a jellyfish, a pumpkin or a gnarly paperweight.
Brother Hezekiah X and Big Daddy Abel of The Amish Outlaws help their fans have a great time at Musikfest as they sing along to one of the popular songs covered by the band.
Vocalist and guitarist Jimmie Allen plays at Musikfest Aug. 10. Allen is a country music artist. “Best Shot” and “Make Me Want To” are a couple of Allen's songs enjoyed by show attendees.

The band's spirited energy was felt throughout the filled to capacity venue. Their songs include “Save Me”, “Get Up” and “Monsters,” which were performed at the show. Shinedown broke Billboard Magazine's record for the most No. 1s for airplay in the chart's nearly 40-year history in the category “Mainstream Rock Songs” with 16 on the list beginning in 2003.
The 80s were revisited Aug. 11 with Colin Hay, when he played eight of his songs from Men at Work, including, “It's a Mistake,” “Down Under,” “Overkill” and his encore, “Be Good, Johnny.” Hay also played several songs from his solo songbook.
