Charles B. Sweigard, 82, died September 1, 2021, at his home in Bethlehem. Born in in Allentown, he was a son of the late Charles and Virgina (Pearl) Sweigard. He was the husband of Paula A. (Wertman) Sweigard for 53 years.

He was in the U.S. Army Reserve.

He was a high school graduate.

He was an electrical journeyman with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers 375.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Erica Jefferson, Kristina Leidy and Monica Krause; seven grandchildren, Adrienne, Jillian, Kiersten, Kamerynn, Lauren, Madison and Daniel; three great-grandchildren, Kadence, Kaleigh and Noelle; a sister, Shelia Peters; and a brother, Michael Sweigard.
