Virginia “Ginny” Marie Rader, 84, of Bernville, died Aug. 29, 2021, at home.

She and her husband, Fred I. Rader, were married 65 years in May.

Born in Detroit, Mich., she was a daughter of the late Peter and Helen (Roman) Yeugelvitz.

A banquet waitress at the Red Bull in Richland, she was an aide for United Cerebral Palsy of the Lehigh Valley and at the Pennsylvania DMV photo center, both in Bethlehem.

She loved going to the casino, playing bingo and slot machines.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters Kathleen M. Feather (William) of Salisbury, N.C., Debra A. Christman (David) of Pittsburgh, and Carrie Yocum (John) of Allentown; sister Gloria Shelko (Leo) of Florida; grandchildren Billie Marie and Kaliam “KC” Feather, Christopher, Keith, and Anthony Christman, and Evan, Alyssa, and Blayne Yocum; and great-grandchildren Cayden, Mason and Abigail.

She was predeceased by a son David.

Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Sept. 3 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 94 Walnut Road, Hamburg.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m.
