Grandstand gate opens at 5:30 p.m. Carrie Underwood, seven-time Grammy Award-winning country music star, returns for the third time to the Allentown Fair. Underwood has sold more than 64 million records worldwide and has recorded 27 No. 1 singles, 14 of which she co-wrote. Her hits include “Jesus, Take The Wheel,” “Before He Cheats,” “Blown Away” and “Something in the Water.” The Muskogee, Okla., native won “American Idol” in 2005. She released “My Gift” in 2020, her first Christmas album, and “My Savior” in 2021. Underwood released the Gold-certified studio album,”Cry Pretty,” in 2018, with the hit “Love Wins.” In 2018, she also released the hit event anthem she co-wrote, “The Champion,” featuring Ludacris, which opened NBC’s Super Bowl LII and was incorporated into the network’s coverage of the 2018 Olympic Winter Games. In 2020, HarperCollins-Dey Street published Underwood’s first book, “Find Your Path: Honor Your Body, Fuel Your Soul, and Get Strong.” Underwood headlined at the Allentown Fair in 2007 and 2015.
