William F. Buss Jr., 65, of Northampton, died Aug. 19, 2021, at University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia. He was the husband of the late Wanda A. (Wieand) Buss.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of Irene M. (Clauser) and the late William F. Buss Sr. of Northampton.

He was a PFC in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.

He was a diesel and transmission mechanic for 25 years for Gilboy Ford, Whitehall, before retiring in 2010.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Steven T. and his wife Laura of Coplay; a brother, Robert W. Buss and his wife Susan of Whitehall; four grandchildren, Stephen and fiancee Catherine of Catasauqua, Gavin, Brandon and Katelyn; a great-grandson, Stephen; and a sister-in-law, Audrey Troxell.

He was predeceased by a son, Terry Allen Buss.
