Veronica “Pinky” J. Yanders, 82, of Northampton, died Aug. 27, 2021. She was the wife of the late Richard H. Yanders.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Catherine (Kowalick) Gillette.

She was last employed in the housekeeping department at Mary Immaculate Center. She previously worked at Kraft Foods, Northampton Area High School, Kid’s Peace and Burlington Coat Factory.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church.

She was a member of the Blue Army Prayer Group and the St. John Centennial Committee. She was a volunteer Girl Scout leader and a pierogie pincher.

She is survived by two daughters, Colleen Kleintop and Leah Stettler and her husband Rick; a son, Cory and his wife Deb; five grandchildren, Jill, Brandi and her husband Peter, Kirsten, Tucker and Emily; and a great-grandson, Jameson.
