Vernell M. Meyers, 77, of Bath, died Aug. 17, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. She was the wife of the late John J. Meyers for 56 years.

Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Marie (Edelman) Hahn Sr.

She and her husband were the proprietors of Meyers Gun Shop, Point Phillips, for many years. She was the human resources manager for Cutler-Hammer. She was a secretary for the Moore Township Police Department, Colonial Regional Police Department and Bethlehem Area Vocational-Technical School.

She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Kreidersville.

She was a life member of the East Bath Rod and Gun Club. She was a Northampton High School Class of 1963 reunion committee member. She was a member of the Northampton Chapter of AARP. She volunteered with the Moore Township Historical Society. She was the 1976 women’s state champion for trap shooting.

She is survived by two daughters, Kristine Meyers and Debra and her husband Cory Stoudt; four grandchildren, Heather Kichline and Tyler, Dylan and Riley Stoudt; two great-grandchildren, Dominic and Melodie; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Raymond “Butch” Hahn Jr., Linford Hahn and Glenn Hahn.
