Edward N. Lavenburg, 71, of Allen Township, died Aug. 24, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Salisbury Township. He was the husband of MarySue (Buell) Lavenburg for 33 years.
Born in Schuylkill County, he was a son of the late Norman E. Sr. and Elsie (Bauer) Lavenburg.
He was a store manager for Bottom Dollar Retail, Bethlehem, from which he retired in 2015. Previously, he was a store manager for CVS Pharmacy, Allentown, and for the Kmart Store, Quakertown.
He was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Moore Township.
He was a member of the Sunshine Foundation. He was an HO gauge train collector.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mechelle and her husband Christopher Ziegenfuss of Wilmington, N.C.; three sons, Darrin and his wife Cathy Walker of South Norriton, Jason and his wife Jane Walker of Culleoka, Tenn., and Ryan and his wife Kristine Lavenburg of Bath; 11 grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
He was predeceased by five sisters, Eleanor, Shirley, Arlene, Bernice and Athena; and a brother, Norman E. Jr.
