Sports pictures will be taking place Sept. 2 for Catasauqua Middle School students.

Middle school field hockey is planned for 2:30 p.m., and the middle school football photo will be 3 p.m.

Catasauqua Middle School will be closed Sept. 3 and 6 for the Labor Day holiday.

The Scholastic book fair is scheduled to be held Sept. 7-10.

Don’t miss meet-the-teacher night, planned for 7-8:30 p.m. Sept. 9.

Picture days are coming!

Virtual students will have their school pictures taken Sept. 9, and traditional students are set for Sept. 10.

Parents and guardians should be sure to complete the first-day forms, which can be found in the parent portal, by Sept. 10.

There will be early dismissal Sept. 15. CMS students will be dismissed 12:20 p.m.

Don’t forget Catasauqua Area School District has modified the health and safety plan to require the wearing of face coverings inside the school buildings to protect the students and staff.

This requirement will remain in effect through Oct. 1, at which time district administration will re-evaluate.

CASD is suspending the practice of curbside meal service, and instead, meals may be ordered for pickup for students learning remotely.

If you would like to order school meals for your child who is learning remotely, send an email by noon each Wednesday to nagyl@cattysd.org. You must include your student’s name and grade level and the dates covered by the meals you are requesting.

Five days’ worth of meals will be provided each week - to include a breakfast and a lunch per weekday. Orders may be picked up 9:30 a.m. Thursdays at Sheckler Elementary School.
