The Pediatric Cancer Foundation of Lehigh Valley is accepting registrations for its Ready, Set, GOLD 8k Run/5k Walk on Sept. 18 at the Ironton Rail Trail, Coplay.

Race the 8k run, walk the 5k course, or sign your kids up for the fun run/obstacle course.

Enjoy music, food, raffles and more.

This community event will be fun and benefits local kids with cancer.

All participants who are registered by Aug. 25 will receive an event T-shirt and a goodie bag.

They can be picked up at the Coplay Park Pavilion in Saylor Park, N.2nd St. in Coplay, during early pickup from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Sept. 16 or 17 or starting at 7 a.m. on event day.

PCFLV encourage participants to pickup their T-shirt and bag during one of the early pickup days.

Prizes will be awarded for: highest individual fundraiser (walker or runner), top fundraising team, largest team, and most spirited team.

Cash prizes will also be awarded for the top three overall male and female runners,
