Christ’s Church at Lowhill, 4695 Lowhill Church Road, New Tripoli, will accept donations of nonperishable food items, and fresh vegetables and fruits during its Harvest Home service 10 a.m. Aug. 29.

All items will be given to the food pantry which serves families in Lowhill, Lynn, Weisenberg and Heidelberg townships.

The church’s outdoor basket raffle in the grove will take place Sept. 11.

There will be beautiful baskets, gift cards and gift certificates, and more.

Homemade food and a bake sale, including apple dumplings will be available in the pavilion 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Music will be performed by DJ Jason throughout the day.

In the event of rain, the basket raffle will be moved indoors.

Raffle winners do not need to be present to win,

Morgenland Union Church, 3120 Weidasville Road, Orefield, is accepting orders until Sept. 5 for its hoagie sale.

Choose from regular with everything, no peppers, no onions with peppers, no onions or peppers, ham and cheese, turkey, roast beef with no onions or peppers, tuna, or veggie.

Pickup is 4-6 p.m. Sept. 14 at the church.

Lehigh Valley Zoo, 5150 Game Preserve Road, Schnecksville, will host its third annual Zoocoustic Night at the Zoo fundraiser on Aug. 28.

Acoustic music performed by Stacy Gabel, Glenwood, Erin Kelly, Frank Porter, Seth Witcher, Jeni Hackett and Marc DeBoeser will be featured.

Stages will be located throughout the zoo where musicians will be playing simultaneously, and music will be continuous throughout the fundraiser.

Food, beer and wine will be available for purchase.
