Arlene M. Dietrich, 87, of Slatington, formerly of New Tripoli, died Aug. 19, 2021, in Phoebe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Allentown. She was predeceased by her husband, Nevin G. Dietrich, on June 6.

Born in Slatington, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Stella (Kressley) Williams.

A 1952 graduate of Slatington High School, she was a clerk for the former Holbens Store, New Tripoli, and later a saleslady for the former Hess Brothers, Allentown.

Her survivors include sons Donald T. (Lori) Dietrich of Slatington, with whom she resided, and Roger N. Dietrich of Kempton; a sister June Oswald of Schnecksville; brothers William (Eleanor) Williams and Richard (Joyce) Williams, all of New Tripoli; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son Robert E. Dietrich Sr. and siblings Ralph, James, Walter and Paul Williams, Dorothy Sterner and Mary Semmel.
