The training included two rounds of search and rescue in the darkened school and two instances of simulated firefighting techniques in a large school or commercial structure.

The Salisbury Township School District administration is allowing the vacant school building to be used for non-destructive first responder training. The school board voted to close Western Salisbury Elementary School June 3, 2020.
