Lebanon Valley College
Kroboth named to dean’s list
Jessica Kroboth, of Whitehall, is one of more than 700 Lebanon Valley College students named to the dean’s list for the spring 2021 semester. Dean’s list students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.4 out of 4.0. Kroboth, a graduate of Whitehall High School, is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science.
For three consecutive years (2018-20), Lebanon Valley College has been listed as No. 1 in Pennsylvania for graduate job placement by the career guidance site Zippia.com, using federal data. Lebanon Valley College is a private, coeducational college in Annville. The College offers more than 45 undergraduate majors plus self-designed majors and a range of minors, concentrations, and preprofessional options. LVC also offers online and in-person graduate degree programs in accounting (MBA 3+1), applied kinesiology, athletic training, business administration, clinical exercise physiology, clinical mental health counseling, physical therapy, science in STEM education, speech-language pathology, and sport performance, and certificates in health care management, integrative STEM education, leadership and ethics, online teaching and learning, modern band and supply chain management and logistics.
Alvernia University
Students earn degrees
Nearly 650 students earned associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees from Alvernia University during the 2020-21 academic year. Graduates from August 2020, December 2020 and May 2021 celebrated by walking across the stage May 15 at First Energy Stadium.

Slippery Rock University
Dean’s list is announced
Slippery Rock University has announced its dean’s list for the spring 2021 semester. The dean’s list consists of SRU undergraduate students who earned an adjusted semester GPA of 3.5 or higher, based on a schedule of at least 12 newly attempted and earned credits. Jarrod Miller, of Whitehall, and Austen Hochstrasser and Andrew Huymaier, both from Northampton, were among the students named to the dean’s list.

Saint Francis University
Wesser graduates
Ciaran Wesser, of Northampton, graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Saint Francis University during the May 8-9, 2021, commencement exercises. Wesser was among more than 700 students who received degrees.
Saint Francis University (francis.edu) in Loretto, is the oldest Catholic-Franciscan college in the United States.
Dickinson College
Wood graduates
Gavin Wood, son of Lawrence Wood, of Broadheadsville, and Yvonne Kuhenbeaker, of Whitehall, graduated from Dickinson College in May with a Bachelor of Arts in international business and management and Italian studies. He is a graduate of Whitehall High School.
Dickinson is a nationally recognized liberal-arts college chartered in 1783 in Carlisle. The highly selective college is home to 2,300 students from across the nation and around the world.
