Possession

Xavier Jomar Soto, 21, of Bethlehem, was charged with alleged possession with the intent to deliver, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a motor vehicle while operating privilege is suspended and maximum speed limits, following a traffic stop on Hausman Avenue July 30, according to Salisbury police. Soto was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.

Fraud

A 38-year-old male, of Bath, was charged with alleged home improvement fraud following an incident in the 1900 block of Earls Court July 20, according to Salisbury police.

Theft

A resident of the 900 block of Flexer Avenue discovered two packages containing items valued at $140 were removed from his porch, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported July 22 and is under investigation.

A resident of the 3000 block of Fairfield Drive discovered a bicycle, valued at $400, was removed from a front porch at the residence, according to Salisbury police. The bicycle is described as a Trek or Schwinn black and orange mountain bike. The incident was reported July 27 and is under investigation.

A gray Trek Marlin 5 bicycle, valued at $630, was removed from a garage in the 2800 block of Edgemont Drive, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported July 28 and is under investigation.

A gray Trek Marlin 7 bicycle, valued at $730, was removed from a garage in the 2900 block of Edgemont Drive, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported July 29 and is under investigation.

Unauthorized charges

A resident of the 2300 block of East Filbert Street discovered $54.82 in unauthorized charges were made on a debit card account, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported July 20 and remains under investigation.

Fraudulent purchases

A resident of the 3400 block of Kathleen Avenue discovered several fraudulent purchases totaling $5,841.25 made on a credit account. The incident was reported July 20 and is under investigation.

Assist

Salisbury police officers assisted Salisbury firefighters with a fire in the 900 block East of Susquehanna Street July 18, according to Salisbury police. The homeowner put out the fire with a garden hose.

Unemployment fraud

Salisbury police received 22 reports of unemployment benefits fraud since late July. Residents are encouraged to continue to report instances of unemployment fraud to the police department at 610-797-1447 or Lehigh County Radio at 610-437-5252.
