Meyer will perform original music from his two CDs, “Almost There” and Searching,” the latter awarded “Best Jazz CD” at the Lehigh Valley Music Awards (2007). Meyer has performed in the Lehigh Valley for more than 40 years, playing diverse music genres, including classic rock, pop, ethnic and jazz. The Jim Meyer Group includes Craig Kastelnik, keyboard, organ; Mike Trach, sax, flute; Dan Gonzalez, drums; Hector Rosato, conga, percussion, and Jim McGee, bass. The concert will feature original fusion jazz music by McGee, leader of New Kind of Talk.
