District Attorney Jim Martin announced Ritter is charged with vehicular homicide while under the influence, four counts of aggravated assault, and other crimes. Ritter also pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance in an unrelated 2019 crash in Allentown. The Jan. 14, 2020 crash occurred at Overlook and Mauch Chunk Roads in Allentown, at which Ritter’s silver Saturn Vue struck a Chevrolet Malibu. The front seat passenger in the Chevrolet, 22-year-old Yasmine Woodruff of Allentown, was pronounced dead at the scene. All the passengers of both vehicles were injured.
