After the Lehigh Valley Wheelmen Association (LVWA) donated a bicycle repair station to the Bob Rodale Cycling and Fitness Park on Mosser Road in Breinigsville, Lehigh County Commissioner Dan Hartzell presented a letter of appreciation to express the counties appreciation for the amenity.
Hartzell presented the letter of appreciation to LVWA President Rich Ferrera on behalf of Lehigh County Executive Phillips Armstrong.
The repair station cost about $1,700 according to a spokesman for the LVWA. It as an air pump, a bike rack, and various bicycle tools all secured to the main unit with cables.
The repair station was dedicated in honor of three deceased “Ride Leaders:” Bill Derby, Ron Helmuth, and Pat Ytsma.
