North Catasauqua Recreation Committee will hold the wiffle ball championship game Aug. 23 at North Catasauqua William J. Albert Memorial Park, 701 Grove St. The start time is set for 7:30 p.m., followed by an ice cream social.

There will also be a free raffle for five backpacks filled with back-to-school supplies.

The rescheduled Easton Band concert will be held 7-8:30 p.m. Aug 30.

Steel Creek will perform 7-9:30 p.m. Sept. 16.

The next Catty Seniors Plus meeting will be held Aug. 25 at Slovak Center Social Club, 1223 Fifth St. Doors open noon, and the meeting starts 1 p.m.

Dessert and coffee will be served, followed by bingo.

If masks are mandated at the time, they will need to be worn, even if vaccinated.

Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., will be open 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays during August.

In September, hours will be 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The annual North Catasauqua community yard sale is planned for 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Sept. 11 at North Catasauqua William J. Albert Memorial Park.

Organizers are seeking vendors.

North Catasauqua Betterment Committee’s Autumnfest and car show will be held 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 10 at North Catasauqua William J. Albert Memorial Park, 701 Grove St. The rain date is Oct. 16.

There will be food, live music, crafts and a flea market. Toys for Tots will be holding a toy drop, or attendees can make a monetary donation to help a child this holiday season.
