Jo Ann Hartman, 82, of Lemon Grove, Calif., died Aug. 7, 2021. She was the wife of Richard Hartman for 49 years.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of Elmer and Helen Schisler.

She was a nurse.

She was active in church, where she sang on the choir and was a hand bell choir ringer.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, John and Jim; two daughters, Dawn and Julie; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Nancy Schisler-Kumernitsky.
