The Egyptian Hills neighborhood will hold a yard sale 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Aug. 20 and 21.
Participating streets include Adams, Lehigh, North Church, Pharaoh, Spruce and Third streets; Cairo, Nile and Troxell drives; Schimmel Court; and Thebes Turn.

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7293, 5209 Springmill Road, Egypt, will be hosting a GirlCrue concert 6-10 p.m. Aug. 21.

There will be a basket raffle Aug. 27-29 at Laurel Fire Company, 5114 Third St., Cementon.
Hours are 5-10 p.m. Aug. 27, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Aug. 28 and noon-4 p.m. Aug. 29.

Registration for fall 2021 baseball and softball season at Egypt Memorial Park is open now through Aug. 31.
Youth ages 6-18 may be registered at egyptpark.org.

VFW Post 7293 will hold its 75th anniversary celebration Sept. 11.
A members-only party will be noon-4 p.m., then it will open to the public 4 p.m.-midnight for a small cover charge. Dirty Roxx performs 6-10 p.m.
