The iPad pickup is 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Aug. 25-27 for both in-person and online students. A parent/guardian needs to be present to sign the student iPad use agreement form.

The school will accept the $10 fee in cash or with a money order or check made payable to CASD. If using a check, include the student’s name and grade level on the memo line.

Online students will be able to pick up the materials needed for online learning during this time.

The fifth-grade and new student in-person orientation is set for 8:30-10 a.m. Aug. 25. Fifth-grade students should report directly to their homeroom. New students should report to the office.

For students using bus transportation, the schedule for orientation is Chesterbrook Academy, 8:05 a.m.; Allendale Apartments, 8:10 a.m.; Troxell and Taft streets, 8:13 a.m.; and Grove Street and Ronca Boulevard, 8:18 a.m. Students should be at the bus stop at least five minutes early. Look for bus 22.

Masks are required on buses.

Catasauqua Middle School opens 7:45 a.m. Aug. 30 for the first day of classes. Homeroom is 7:47-8:07 a.m.

Universal masking is recommended for all teachers, staff, students and visitors, regardless of vaccination status. Masks are required on buses.

Lockers will not be utilized this year.
