Charles W. “Skip” Mikosky Jr., 74, of Kempton, died peacefully Aug. 10, 2021.
The husband of Tina (Braim) Banotai Mikosky, the couple spent 14 years together and were married for the past six years.
Born in Easton, he was the son of the late Charles W. Sr. and Caroline (Moll) Mikosky.
A member of Weisenberg Lutheran Church, New Tripoli, he was a member of the choir and stewardship committee.
He was a graduate of Easton High School, class of 1964, and a 1972 graduate of Kutztown State College.
He proudly served his Country in the U.S. Marines from 1964-67.
He was an English teacher at Easton Area High School for more than 31 years before retiring in 2004.
He served as the coach of the boys volleyball team.
In his free time, he enjoyed golfing and hunting with his beloved dogs at Clover Hollow Hunting Preserve.
Earlier in life, he was a Boy Scout Leader.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Matthew of Macungie; sister Susan Matviak and her husband, Andy, of Sidney, N.Y., and their family; and his mother-in-law Dolores Braim of Allentown.
Memorial contributions may be presented to the church, 7645 Weisenberg Church Road, New Tripoli, PA 18066.
