Charles W. Mikosky Jr.

Charles W. “Skip” Mikosky Jr., 74, of Kempton, died peacefully Aug. 10, 2021. He was the husband of Tina (Braim) Banotai Mikosky. They spent 14 years together and were married for the past six years. Born in Easton, he was the son of the late Charles W. Sr. and Caroline (Moll) Mikosky.

He was a member of Weisenberg Lutheran Church, New Tripoli, where he was a member of the church choir and stewardship committee.

He was a graduate of Easton High School, Class of 1964 and a 1972 graduate of Kutztown State College.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines from 1964 to 1967.

He was an English teacher at Easton Area High School for over 31 years, retiring in 2004, where he served as the coach of the boys’ volleyball team.

In his free time, he enjoyed golfing and hunting with his beloved dogs at Clover Hollow Hunting Preserve. Earlier in life he was a Boy Scout leader.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Matthew, of Macungie; a sister, Susan and her husband, Andy Matviak, of Sidney, N.Y., and their family, a mother-in-law Dolores Braim, of Allentown.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church, 7645 Weisenberg Church Road, New Tripoli, 18066.
