Alias, playing the sounds of classic dance vibes, was the headliner at the Aug. 6 concert at the amphitheater at Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St. The group got a round of applause from the people in the first row.

The sales of 50/50 tickets continue to be strong. The recent prize was $143. The parks committee thanked the people who are keeping up this effort throughout the summer.

The committee said it will begin the park planning in the fall.

Committee members also added the group will continue to have the best ticket pickers for the 50/50 ticket prizes.
