Helen E. Reinert, 96, of Allentown, died on Aug. 7, 2021, in her home.

She was the wife of the late Ernest V. Reinert.

Born Sept. 24, 1924, in Upper Macungie Township, she was the daughter of the late Joseph C. and Cecelia (Urban) Horvath.

She was a shirt presser at the former Allen Laundry, Allentown, for many years before retiring.

She was a member of Morgenland Church, Orefield.

Her survivors include children, Martha C. Reinert of Allentown, Dennis G. Reinert of South Carolina, Jeanne M. Butler of Whitehall, Robert W. Reinert of Allentown, and Janet L. Reinert at home; brother Martin Horvath of Allentown; grandchildren Denise, Kevin, Kristen; and great-grandchildren Taylor, Dennis, Emily, Daniel, Benjamin, Vincent and Penelope.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Brian Barto; and siblings Ida Drabick, Hilda Furst, Joseph, Carl and John Horvath.

A private graveside service will be held at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown. There will be no public calling hours.
