PRESS PHOTO BY JIM MARSH Several fire units respond 2:20 p.m. July 26 to a residential fire at 103 Macungie Ave., in Emmaus. The fire was first dispatched as a third floor electrical fire. When Emmaus Fire Department firefighters first arrived on scene they changed the 911 dispatch to a working fire as mutual aid units from Western Salisbury, Vera Cruz and Lower Macungie were en route. Emmaus Ambulance Corps and Emmaus Police Department units assisted at the scene for over an hour before the incident was cleared.
