The second annual Chalk the Walk event will be held 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 14 along the walking path by the creek on the Macungie Volunteer Fire Department. The rain date is Aug. 15. The event is open to anyone age 6 through adult. Chalk will be given to all participants but it is strongly encouraged to bring your own.

Cash prizes will be given. Sponsors are also requested for prizes.
