Virginia M. Huber, 89, of Northampton, died July 31, 2021, at Sacred Heart Senior Living, Northampton. She was the wife of the late Aloysius J. Huber and the late Joseph Hametz.

Born in Hazleton, she was a daughter of the late John S. and Virginia C. (Enama) Fellin.

She worked in billing at Newhard’s Pharmacy, Northampton. She was earlier a secretary at Hazleton School District for many years.

She was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Northampton, and the Young at Heart senior group.

She was a member of the Coplay Saengerbund.

She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Hughes and her husband Geoffrey and Patrice Lakatosh and her husband Lee; two granddaughters, Katherine and Christina and her husband Stephen Shuey; a grandson, Matthew and his wife Kelli; two great-granddaughters, Jillian and Olivia; a sister, Mary Lou and her husband Phil; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Lewis, John and Robert.
