The Siegfried Railroad Station, a museum on West 21st Street housing artifacts of Northampton and the surrounding area, will be open 1-4 p.m. Aug. 15.

The station is also the home of Northampton Area Historical Society, which will again hold its mum fundraiser this year. Color choices are yellow, purple, red, orange and white.

Orders can be placed at the station or by calling 610-767-8420. The deadline to order mums is Aug. 29.

Pickup is 8-11 a.m. Sept. 11 at the station.

Northampton Area Food Bank, 1601 Canal St., will hold distributions 5-7 p.m. Aug. 12 and 19 and 9-11:30 a.m. Aug. 14 and 21. Bring a photo ID with a current address or your ID and a bill with the correct address.

The food bank is open 9:30 a.m.-noon every Wednesday for registration, questions and donation drop-offs.

Northampton AARP Chapter 3915 will not hold any meetings at this time, per recommendations from the national association.

Chapter 3915 plans to resume meetings in September. Members will be notified of any changes.
