Marilyn A. Vrba, 87, of Whitehall, died July 31, 2021. She was the wife of Thomas T. Vrba for 63 years.

Born in Schuyler, Neb., she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Margaret (McCready) Hespen.

She was a 1951 graduate of Schuyler High School.

She was a cashier in the Pocono Mountains High School cafeteria.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Mary Jo of Allentown, Jolene Jespersen and her husband Ed of Dayton, Ohio, and Nancy and her husband Warren Madden of Whitehall; a son, Michael of Colorado; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by Joseph (June) Vrba; two sisters, Margaret and Ellen; and five brothers, Donald, Leo, Gerald, Floyd and Walter.
