Lester A. Perelli Jr., 79, died Aug. 4, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospice. He was the husband of Nancy L. (Gerstenberg) Perelli for 18 years.

Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Lester A. Sr. and Theresa M. (Florindi) Perelli.

He was a 1959 graduate of Bangor High School.

He was in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1959 to 1963 during the Vietnam War. He was a commandant of Marine Corps of League 284.

He was a member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local 542.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Anthony and his wife Jackie; three daughters, Angela Perelli-Smith, Audrey Perelli and Andrea Perelli-Mains; a brother; Dennis Perelli; eight grandchildren, Justin Smith, Jessica Smith, Julie Smith, Jada Smith, Tyler Dunn, Dominque Mains, Brennen Mains and Sklya Perelli; and four great-grandchildren; Aylah Grays, Javonnah Smith, Sophia Harris and Cameron Harris.
