LeRoy “Rosie” R. LaRose Jr., 94, of Northampton, died Aug. 3, 2021, at Alexandria Manor, Bath. He was the husband of Nancy L. (Frable) LaRose for 46 years.
Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late LeRoy R. LaRose Sr. and Bernadine (McGovern) LaRose.
He was a seaman first class in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Dobler during World War II.
He was a shop superintendent for the Bethlehem Contracting Company, Bath, for 42 years before retiring in 1991.
He was a longtime member of the local welders group and of the former Grover Cleveland Club, Bethlehem. He was a member of the American Legion Post 406, Fountain Hill.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a stepdaughter, Michelle J. and her husband Steven Kutalek of Lumberton, N.J,; a stepson, Glenn Vrabel of Orefield: a grandson, Harrison Kutalek; two nieces; and two nephews.
