With the increased efforts in Catasauqua to provide recreational activities for residents, Richard Guth, a volunteer with the George Taylor House, added a new fun event.
The George Taylor House, Lehigh and Poplar streets, will be hosting goat yoga Aug. 15, taught by certified yoga teacher Toni Zuper.
There is an adult and child class planned for 1-2:15 p.m. for children ages 5 and up with their favorite adults.
The cost is $40 per couple and includes two guest passes.
Spaces are limited, so call Rick Guth at 610-360-7565 to reserve your spot.
The adult class will be 3:30-4:45 p.m.
The cost is $30 per person and includes two guest passes. Each pass includes access to a house tour.
Lawn chairs are recommended.
“We had goats at the farm for several years,” Guth noted. “This birthing season, we thought we would go and see how we can get into the yoga craze.”
According to the GTH Facebook page, the young goats, named George, Taylor, Anne, Bugle and Woogie are ready to play.
Guth noted the timing is perfect to hold the event now, while the goats are old enough to be out and about, yet still young and cute.
