For the month of August, Whitehall Food Pantry is in need of canned fruit, tuna fish, cereal and soups.
St. John’s United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., will be collecting the items. A shopping cart can be found in the coat room area off the sanctuary where you can place your donations.
Other nonperishable food items or monetary donation can always be made at any time throughout the year.

St. Elizabeth’s would like to remind everyone that it’s nearly time to find your favorite basket and begin filling it with your clever, themed basket ideas.
Mark your calendar for the 12th annual basket social Oct. 8, 9 and 10.
Bargains are everywhere, so start collecting your items now. Each basket needs to be worth at least $25.
Feel free to drop off any nonperishable items at the parish office for the committee to create a basket for you. Be sure to have your name on your donations.
