There will be an Ironton Rail Trail work party 8 a.m. Aug. 14. Meet at the maintenance trailer located on Second Street, adjacent to the trail.

The 20th annual IRT 10-K walk/run begins 8 a.m. Aug. 20 at Saylor Park.

Entertainer Tim Harakal will be performing songs from the 1980s to the present 6-9 p.m. Aug. 18 at Community Plaza, North Second and Chestnut streets. The concert is part of the borough’s summer music series.

A family splash and dance night is planned for 6-8 p.m. Aug. 19 at the pool at Coplay Parkway, Second and Keefer streets. The event features deejay Freddie Fredericks Jr., games, contests and dancing.

The Disney film “Luca” will be shown 7:30 p.m. Aug. 19 at the pavilion at Coplay Parkway. Coplay Sports will be selling popcorn, treats and drinks.

Coplay Community Days is scheduled for Aug. 27-29 at Coplay Parkway.

The event will begin 5 p.m. Aug. 27. Common Bond is set to perform 6-10 p.m. the first night.

Other musical entertainment includes Steel Creek 1-4 p.m. and the Sofa Kings 6-9 p.m. Aug. 28 and Josef Kroboth 12:30-3:30 p.m., Sue Rabenold and Michael Scherer 4-5 p.m. and the Large Flowerheads 6:15-9:15 p.m. Aug. 29.
