Parents and guardians should keep an eye out for a PowerAnnouncement the week of Aug. 16.

There will be homeroom assignments, student schedules and beginning of the year forms available to review through the PowerSchool Parent Portal.

Families must have an account set up to access the content.

If you don’t have a PowerSchool Parent Portal account or forgot your password, call the main office at 610-264-4341.

Additionally, Catasauqua Middle School teachers communicate using the Remind app. Parents and guardians should set up a Remind account if they don’t already have one.

A fifth-grade orientation slideshow will be posted after 5 p.m. Aug. 18 on the CMS website, cattysd.org/Domain/276.

All new student schedules should be available in the PowerSchool Parent Portal Aug. 24.

The fifth-grade and new student in-person orientation is set for 8:30-10 a.m. Aug. 25.

Check the parent portal for your child’s homeroom information.

The first day of classes for students is set for Aug. 30.
