Bath: Salem UCC to hold Aug. 14 peach festival

Salem United Church of Christ, 2218 Community Drive, will be having the annual peach festival 3-9 p.m. Aug. 14.

There will be food, a cake walk, games, bingo and a 50/50 prize raffle. Music will be provided by Desire.

There are picnic tables and benches, or you may want to bring a lawn chair.

In case of rain, the food and the raffle will be 3-7 p.m. in the church.

There is free parking, and there is no admission fee.

***

Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 210 E. Northampton St., would like parishioners to know there are no longer restrictions for attending Mass, effective Aug. 15.

All pews will be open again, and reservations are no longer needed.

No one is required to wear a face mask on diocesan property. Those who wish to continue to wear one are free to do so.

The exchange of the sign of peace is not permitted.

***

Bath Drugs, 310 Walnut St., would like the public to know that COVID-19 vaccines are available for all, 12 years old and up.

For questions or more information, call 610-837-9992.

***

Unangst Tree Farms, 1300 Beth-Bath Pike, East Allen Township, is hosting a food truck festival 4-8 p.m. each Wednesday until September.

Each week features nearly a dozen food trucks, musicians and hayrides.

There are several picnic tables, but it is recommended you bring your own picnic blankets or lawn chairs.

Follow the Unangst Tree Farms Facebook page for updates.

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, will be collecting crackers and paper products for the month of August for the Bath Area Food Bank. Once again, the food bank has a special need for ramen noodles.

Monetary gifts are always welcome, of course.
