Roy “Rosie” R. LaRose Jr., 94, of Northampton, died August 3, 2021, at Alexandria Manor, Bath. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late LeRoy R. LaRose Sr. and the late Bernadine (McGovern) LaRose. He was the husband of Nancy L. (Frable) LaRose for 46 years.
He was a Seaman First Class in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Dobler during World War II.
He was a shop superintendent for the Bethlehem Contracting Company, Bath, for 42 years before retiring in 1991.
He was a long time member of the local welders group and of the former Grover Cleveland Club, Bethlehem. He was a member of the American Legion Post #406, Fountain Hill.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a step-daughter, Michelle J. and her husband Steven Kutalek of Lumberton, N.J,; a stepson, Glenn Vrabel of Orefield: a grandson, Harrison Kutalek; two nieces; and two nephews.
