MUSIKFEST OPENING WEEKEND

The ArtsQuest Foundation will host Simply Linny, an exclusive Musikfest VIP experience honoring Bethlehem philanthropist Marlene ‘Linny’ Fowler, on the festival’s closing night Sunday, Aug. 15. This event, presented by Cornerstone Advisors, will take place in Terrace 2 of the Wind Creek Steel Stage for headlining act Black Violin.

“In keeping with ArtsQuest’s flexibility throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the ArtsQuest Foundation has adapted its known Linny Awards event to the Simply Linny event,” said Executive Director of the ArtsQuest Foundation Selena Lavonier. “The foundation will keep its tradition of honoring Linny Fowler’s legacy outdoors, under an open tent, where guests can come together and celebrate the arts. It is important to keep customs alive in this ever-evolving landscape.”

Marlene ‘Linny’ Fowler worked tirelessly to elevate the Lehigh Valley’s arts organizations and artists through her volunteerism and support. ArtsQuest Foundation supports the hundreds of arts, culture and education programs offered by ArtsQuest to the greater Lehigh Valley region each year. This year’s Simply Linny event supports ArtsQuest Foundation’s mission and is replacing the 2021 Linny Awards. The Linny Awards are planned to return in 2022.

For tickets, visit artsquestfoundation.org. To become a Simply Linny event sponsor, please contact Selena Lavonier at 610-332-1345 or slavonier@artsquestfoundation.org.
