Musikfest Aug. 6-15
Simply Linny to replace 2021 awards
Marlene “Linny” Fowler elevated many of valley arts organizations and artists through her volunteerism and support. To honor her legacy, the ArtsQuest Foundation will host the Simply Linny Musikfest VIP experience Aug. 15 at Terrace 2, Wind Creek Steel Stage. Presented by Cornerstone Advisors, the event honors the tradition of celebrating outdoors, under an open tent, where guests can come together and celebrate the arts, says Selena Lavonier, executive director of the ArtsQuest Foundation. The Linny Awards are planned to return in 2022.
The program includes an auction of a 2021 Musikfest poster signed by Wind Creek Steel Stage artists, dinner and drinks. Parking is included. Guests may stay for Black Violin’s performance, which is followed by fireworks. Visit artsquestfoundation.org to purchase tickets. To be an event sponsor, call Selena Lavonier at 610-332-1345 or email slavonier@artsquestfoundation.org.
