Although masks are not mandated by our commonwealth, COVID-19 cases continue to rise in the Lehigh Valley.
New guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advise all vaccinated and unvaccinated people to wear masks indoors in areas with increasing case counts.
As board members and staff of a public institution, we are concerned with the welfare of everyone who comes into the library. We strongly encourage all patrons to mask up in our library and elsewhere to protect yourselves and children under 12 who cannot be vaccinated.
If you are not or cannot be vaccinated or have not received your second dose, please use our curbside services.
Most importantly, please get vaccinated, so we can return to the normalcy we all want.
Hand sanitizer and disposable masks are available, and plexiglass shields have been installed at the computer stations.
