Penn State will be hosting its Ag Progress Days, Pennsylvania’s largest outdoor agricultural exposition, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Aug. 10, 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. Aug. 11 and 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Aug. 12 at Russell E. Larson Agricultural Research Center 2710 W. Pine Grove Road, Pennsylvania Furnace, Huntington County.
Featured events include: “College Connections: Town Hall Discussion on Pennsylvania’s Ag Economy,” presented by Dean Rick Roush and Secretary of Ag Russell Redding 1-2 p.m. Aug. 10, “Transitioning Ag Businesses: Positioning for the Future,” 1:30 to 3 p.m. Aug. 11, both in the Red Barn Annex?and online.
Participants attending the “Transitioning Ag Businesses: Positioning for the Future” will learn strategies and considerations when transitioning agricultural businesses to the next generation, employees, or a new business model or product line.
