Thespina “Tes” S. Gilbert, 93, died July 16, 2021, in Boca Raton, Florida. She was born and raised in Bethlehem.

She was a graduate of Ryder College (’48) and Lehigh University (’52) from which she earned a Master’s degree.

She was an educator in the Bethlehem Area School District and was retired.

She was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.

She is survived by two sons, John and William; a daughter, Judy; a brother, John; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nephews; nieces; and a godson.

She was predeceased by her parents; a sister, Rosemary Phillips; two husbands, James Stelyn and Vincent Gilbert; and a son, the Reverend Father Matthew Gilbert.

Arrangements were made by Connell Funeral Home Inc., Bethlehem.
