LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

Whitehall Township Public Library: Scandinavian wildlife program planned for July 29 on Zoom

Join the American Swedish Historical Museum for a virtual program 11 a.m. July 29 to discover the magic and mystery of Scandinavian wildlife as part of our Tails and Tales summer reading program.

We’ll discuss the relationship between the Scandinavian people and the indigenous wildlife throughout history. Learn about the animals through folk art, tales, tradition and conservation.

We’ll explore the world of Swedish fauna - from Dala horses and enchanted creatures to the national animal, the moose. Learn about animal tracks and facts while we create our own interpretation of traditional crafts.

Request the Zoom link by emailing Ms. Santaliz at santaliz.l@whitehallpl.org. The program is limited to 30 kids.
