The men’s breakfast group of St. John’s United Church of Christ will begin meeting again the first Saturday of the month at Hamilton Family Restaurant, 2027 Hamilton St., Allentown.

The next meeting is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Aug. 7. All are welcome.

For the month of August, St. John’s UCC, 575 Grape St., is collecting donations for the Whitehall Food Pantry.

The following items are needed: canned fruit, tuna fish, cereal and soups.

A shopping cart can be found in the coat room area off the sanctuary where you can place your donations.

Any other nonperishable food items or monetary donations can be made at any time throughout the year.
